Jerry discovered his love for competing in sports at a young age, but it wasn’t until 2012 that he was introduced to and discovered his passion for triathlons. He became instantly hooked to the sport.  Since 2012, Jerry has completed 4 full Ironman events, 7 half iron distance races, as well as numerous Olympic and sprint distance competitions.  He earned USAT Honorable Mention in 2015 and All American in 2016.  Jerry is USAC Level 3 certified and recently obtained his Ironman University Coaching Certification.

Jerry graduated from UMass-Lowell with a degree in Community Health Education in 2005.  He is a U.S. Navy Seabee Veteran and a local firefighter.  Jerry enjoys supporting and participating in many events that promote and advocate healthy living for all.  Since becoming a member of the fire department, Jerry continues to participate in the American Lung Association Fight For Air Stair Climb event in the firefighter category.  He has placed in the top 10 each year he has participated- coming in 2nd overall in 2016.  Jerry resides in Peabody, Ma with his wife Amy and their 2 dogs, Crosby and Nashville.
